Mock Homepage Design for a Modern Accounting Firm
This project is a conceptual homepage design created as a case study to explore how accounting and financial services websites can feel clear, confident, and human without sacrificing professionalism.
Many accounting firms struggle with the same challenge: how to communicate trust, expertise, and clarity without overwhelming potential clients with jargon or generic corporate design. The goal of this mock project was to design a homepage that speaks to people who want to understand their finances, not avoid them.
Project Goals
Create a calm, confidence-building user experience
Clearly communicate services without pressure or sales-heavy language
Emphasize clarity, partnership, and long-term financial support
Appeal to growing businesses, creatives, and high-earning professionals
Design Approach
The layout focuses on hierarchy and breathing room, guiding visitors through the page in a way that feels supportive rather than demanding. Copy was written to reduce anxiety around finances while still positioning the firm as experienced and trustworthy.
Visual elements were kept clean and grounded, avoiding trendy aesthetics in favor of timeless design choices that would age well for a professional services firm.
Key Features
A clear value-driven hero section focused on clarity and confidence
Service breakdowns written in plain language
Client fit guidance to help visitors self-qualify
A simple, transparent process that removes friction
Strategic calls to action without urgency or pressure
Why a Mock Project?
This case study was created without a live client to allow for full creative control and intentional decision-making. Mock projects are a valuable way to demonstrate thought process, UX strategy, and visual direction while solving real-world business problems.
This project reflects the type of work I enjoy most: thoughtful design that makes complex services feel approachable and human.
